When King of Peace Episcopal Church began in 2000, the founding pastor started the congregation by knocking on 100 doors in neighborhoods across Kingsland asking what a new church should do for the community. Many spoke of the need for a preschool and school. The church was founded with the goal of serving the community as our way of sharing God’s love. King of Peace Episcopal Day School was the cornerstone of that vision.The vision has always been and will remain to create an Episcopal school, which will offer the best possible education as the children are nurtured to grow into their full potential. Excellence will be fostered in a loving environment where Christian education is an integral part of the creative learning atmosphere. 

Excellent, Not Exclusive
As with its preschool program, King of Peace Episcopal Day School will maintain the lowest possible fees while raising the bar for education. Some scholarships will be offered from the first day and the school will seek additional funding to assure that the school remains excellent, but never becomes exclusive.
